308 80% Lower Receiver and Jig System

Polymer80 redefined the AR-10 platform with the Warrhogg 308 80% lower receiver and jig system, the world's lightest DPMS-platform .308 lower. Weighing less than half a pound, this reinforced polymer receiver eliminates the weight penalty that has long plagued the .308 AR platform. Every receiver is constructed from the same high-strength reinforced material used in current-production polymer firearms. Polymer80 extensively tested and re-developed the design until it reliably handled thousands of rounds. Reinforcements include a beefed-up buffer tube ring, solid core receiver body, ribbing across the top surface, and a no-thread pistol grip mount. The magazine well has been stiffened for reliable feeding while retaining the featherweight profile that makes this lower stand out.
